SILADENT adds PEEK polymer-based JUVORA™ Dental Disc to portfolio of CAD/CAM dental materials

The progressive dental products company SILADENT Dr. Böhme & Schöps GmbH, enhances its CAD/CAM portfolio with a high-quality PEEK¹⁾ polymer-based solution. To make a reliable non-metallic option available to its customers, Germany based SILADENT has chosen to collaborate with the market-leading supplier JUVORA. The company´s JUVORA^TM Dental Disc is made entirely of a medical-grade PEEK with over 15 years of clinical heritage. The new solution is suitable for the digital manufacture of fixed and removable prosthetics, such as implant-supported superstructures, fixed and removable restorations and also crowns and bridges, including secondary and telescopic crowns.

The German Dental Association estimates up to 10% of men and up to 15% of women in Germany are affected by these conditions, especially in the age group between 35 and 45 years.
